Our Sustainability Strategy
Our approach is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the European Green Deal. We focus on four fundamental pillars:

Governance & Ethics

Environment
At the ITW Reagents division, we are highly committed to protecting the environment and preserving our surroundings. Consequently, we follow a strict environmental responsibility policy and meet all legal requirements, ensuring minimal impact from our activities on the environment.
  • Emissions Reduction: Committed to cutting Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030.
  • 100% of our electricity consumption comes from renewable sources.
  • Circular Economy: Implementing reuse and recycling processes across all operations, allowing us to minimize by 10% water every year.
  • Waste Management:
    • All generated residues are classified and handled according to their toxicity and treated in-house in our Waste treatment plant.
    • Plastic residue minimized
  • Manufactured in Europe-optimized distribution chain.
  • Production processes designed to minimize water and energy consumption, maximize yield, and minimize waste.
  • Recyclable packaging material.
  • Water Conservation: Water optimizing sue allows us to reduce approximately 5% of water used in our plant on a yearly basis.
  • Sustainable solutions: Implementing returnable packaging for solvents.

Our People
  • Safety & Well-Being: Appropriate work methods should be adopted, paying particular care to safety pictograms and detailed information in the safety. We have a strict occupational risk prevention and industrial safety policy, and we comply with all legal requirements.
  • We constantly work on eliminating risk situations to achieve and maintain a zero-accident rate, and to maintain and improve the highest security standards implemented.
  • We ensure compliance with all this through our own Occupational Risk Prevention Service, regular audits, and the certification of the ISO 45001:2018 for health and safety (OH&S).
